Thai Vi Temple – A historic temple dedicated to the Tran Dynasty kings. It was built in the 13th century to honor the kings of the Tran Dynasty, a powerful dynasty known for defending Vietnam against Mongol invasions. Dedicated to King Tran Thai Tong and later Tran kings, the temple reflects their important role in Vietnam’s independence and prosperity.
Built mainly from stone and ironwood, the temple features the simple yet dignified architectural style of the Tran era. Set among rice fields and limestone mountains, its location follows traditional feng shui principles, symbolizing harmony between nature and human life.
Today, Thai Vi Temple remains an important spiritual site for local people, especially during traditional festivals and ceremonies.

Bích Động Pagoda – The Ancient Cave Temple
This is the oldest pagoda in Ninh Binh, built in 1428. This ancient Buddhist temple is gracefully nestled into the limestone mountain, surrounded by tranquil scenery.
The pagoda consists of three levels — Lower, Middle, and Upper — connected by stone steps that wind through cool natural caves. Climb to the top to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of rice fields and karst peaks.
The sound of temple bells echoing through the caves and the scent of incense in the mountain breeze create a peaceful atmosphere — a perfect harmony of nature and spirituality.
