Thai Vi Temple
Thai Vi Temple was built in the 13th century to honor the kings of the Tran Dynasty, a powerful dynasty known for defending Vietnam against Mongol invasions. Dedicated to King Tran Thai Tong and later Tran kings, the temple reflects their important role in Vietnam’s independence and prosperity.
Built mainly from stone and ironwood, the temple features the simple yet dignified architectural style of the Tran era. Set among rice fields and limestone mountains, its location follows traditional feng shui principles, symbolizing harmony between nature and human life.
Today, Thai Vi Temple remains an important spiritual site for local people, especially during traditional festivals and ceremonies.
