A: Each Trang An boat seats 4 people as standard.
If you prefer a private boat, there’s an extra charge of 20 USD (for 1–2 people).
For groups of 3 or more, there’s no extra fee.
The tour price is based on sharing a boat with other guests, which your tour guide will arrange for you.
Q: How many people can share a Tam Coc boat?
A: Each Tam Coc boat seats 2 people.
The best time to see golden rice fields is from April to June 15th, when the riverbanks glow with harvest colors.
Q: Is there a dress code for temples and pagodas?
A: Yes. When visiting Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and Bai Dinh Pagoda, please dress respectfully — wear shirts with sleeves and pants or skirts that cover the knees.
Q: Does this tour require much walking?
A: Yes, especially at Bai Dinh Pagoda, where there are many steps and uphill paths.
If you prefer less walking, you can choose to take an electric car inside the pagoda complex for an extra 7 USD (added to your tour price).
Please note that some walking and steps are still required to reach the inner pagoda areas, so this site may not be suitable for travelers with knee or leg problems.
